Deborah’s House Tijuana, Mexico

 

A summer mission trip to Tijuana, Mexico! Deborah’s House is a ministry supported by American Baptist Churches, USA, and provides shelter for victims of domestic abuse. Under the leadership of Adalia Gutierrez and Ray Schellinger, guest find a safe haven where help is offered and dignity restored. During our visit, volunteers helped to build a new playground area, completed several small home repairs, and poured a concrete foundation for new shelter space. More significantly, there were opportunities to extend care and friendship to the women and children of Deborah’s House.
