HOUSING ORIENTED MINISTRIES ESTABLISHED FOR SERVICE… but for short, it’s just called HOMES. It’s a regional ministry styled after “Habitat For Humanity”. A week-long trip took a team of youth and adult volunteers into western Kentucky and the mountains of Appalachia. Their work included the building of concrete footers and foundation for a new home. Of course, they also took advantage of a day-trip to ride the white water rapids of the New River Gorge in West Virginia!
